Well, well, bet you were not expecting a new blog post out of us!
So much is changing around these parts. Both kids have had a birthday, Andrew got a new tooth implant and Marn has gone part time at work.
First, Desmond. He is talking up a storm right now. It is so fun to see him learning and having independent talk. For so long he just repeated what we said, now, when he is on the phone - he chooses what to tell people (ok, not all the time, but it is still cute). In November, just after Desmond's second birthday - Andrew did it! After a few nights of tough sleeping, Andrew broke Des of his soos. He still wants his Strawberry but doesn't even ask about soos any more. Marn is struggling with seeing her baby grow up, but we all agree it is a good milestone for Desmond!
Violet is going to school now. She loves Mrs. Robinson and was hoping to invite her to her birthday party. Speaking of the party - so much fun. Violet continues to grow despite Marn's repeated requests to stop :) Violet had an under the sea party this year. All the girls were given Mermaid skirts at the party and Violet had Ariel's dress on. They all filled our 'aquarium' with seahorses, jelly fish and large fish. It was a lot of fun. Andrew made ariel heads for the cupcakes. The bottom shot was taken at the family party.
We are looking forward to Christmas time this year. Lots of time spend with family and friends.
